Mets' Fans: DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ANDREW MCCUTCHEN
Listen, maybe I'm on a high after the Cespedes signing. Maybe I'm putting all of my faith in Sandy Alderson. Maybe I'm just out of my mind. But the fact of the matter is, I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT ANDREW MCCUTCHEN.
Trade talks are heating up between the Nats and the Bucs, but I'm truly not worried. The Met's just signed the best free agent in this years class and they are on their way to make some big moves. I have faith in Sandy and I truly believe the hard part is over. The hardest part about this free agency was getting Cespedes. The Nats wanted him, the Giants wanted him, even the Yankees' were thrown into the mix. But we got him. He's where he wants to be and he wants to win. Now it's time for Sandy to BUILD. We need to build around what we have and most importantly: Ignore the Nationals.
The Nationals had an amazing team last year and they couldn't get it done. I truly think McCutchen will not have that great of an impact on the Nats. He's washed up. He's a bum. He'll do nothing for the Nationals. Put it in stone. The guy will suck.
P.S.: This is all talk. McCutchen is a good ball player and he will make the Nats better. This is simply just a look into the Met's denial I am going through right now. And it's December 1st!
