My Perspective as a Cuban on Castro's Death
FINALLY YOU DIE!
First off, I'M FUCKING BACK, AND WHAT A TOPIC TO COME BACK TO.
Congratulations fellow Cubanos from Miami to the Motherland. This walking embodiment of Satan has finally met his end.
For those of you who don't know, or think Fidel Castro "was basically like their president"; Fidel Castro was the literally the Plague for the people of Cuba. This man built a regime of poverty and suffering that has only driven the image that people have of Cuban's today.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not some anti-establishment dick who just hates anything that affects the price of his Caramel Macchiato, this is actually big. Fidel Castro has been the face of Communism and Cuba as a whole for so long, the descendants bred from his oppression are glad to see him finally, as they say, kick the fucking bucket.
As a first generation Cuban, I feel this very close to home. This news broke at like 1am, and my parents texted me about it at 1:10. This is a big deal for us. Even though Fidel wasn't technically controlling the country after he got sick, he was still the puppet-master behind Raul.
I'm fucked up right now and I could not be happier.
At the end of the day, I've never felt like this and anybody who isn't Cuban can't relate. So shotgun a beer, chuff a fucking dart and fuck your own right hand like a respectable man would. Fidel Castro is dead and I'm booking my flight to Cienfuegos.
